Privacy policy
Last updated June 24, 2026
Intuityen exists because two parents needed somewhere safe to put the most vulnerable parts of their journey. We treat your information the way we wanted ours treated.
What we collect
Your account details (name, email), the journey stage you choose, optional profile details (country, city, photo), the information you log — cycles, fertility signs, sleep notes, feeds, milestones, journal entries, registry items, and your messages to our AI companions. We also collect basic technical data needed to run the service (sign-in session, and — only if you consent — privacy-friendly analytics). We collect only what the app needs to be useful to you.
Sensitive (special-category) information
Fertility, pregnancy, loss, and health-related parenting data is deeply personal and is treated as special-category / sensitive personal information. We process it only to provide the features you ask for, with your consent, and never for advertising. It is stored securely, encrypted in transit, visible only to you (and a partner you explicitly invite), and you can delete it at any time.
How we use it
To personalise your experience: your dashboard, AI conversations, reminders, and weekly emails (if enabled) are built from what you share. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not use your private health data to train AI models.
Legal basis & consent
We process your account data to provide the service you signed up for. We process sensitive health and parenting data, and send optional marketing-style emails, on the basis of your consent — which you can withdraw at any time from your profile or by unsubscribing.
AI conversations
Messages you send to our AI companions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, the maker of Claude) solely to generate a response, along with minimal context such as your journey stage and your child’s age. We do not send your email or account identifiers. Anthropic processes this under its commercial terms and does not use it to train its models. Conversations you save are stored in your account so you can revisit them.
Who we share it with (sub-processors)
We rely on a small set of vetted providers, each receiving only the minimum data required to do its job:
- ·Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage
- ·Vercel — application hosting and delivery
- ·Anthropic (Claude) — AI response generation
- ·Resend — delivery of account and weekly tip emails
- ·Stripe — payment processing (only if/when paid features are used)
- ·Google Analytics — privacy-friendly usage analytics, only if you consent
- ·Amazon Associates — product links (we may earn a commission; Amazon sets its own cookies if you click through)
Where your data is stored & transfers
Your data is hosted by the providers above and may be processed in countries outside your own (including the United States) under appropriate contractual safeguards. If you are in Quebec or the EU/UK, this means your data may be transferred across borders to deliver the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and all associated data (logs, journal, registry, AI conversations) are permanently removed from our live systems, and purged from backups within our backup-retention window. You can also delete individual entries at any time.
Cookies & analytics
We use a strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in — this is required for the app to work. Any analytics cookie is optional and loads only after you accept it in the consent banner; you can decline with no loss of functionality.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to your records is enforced at the database level so only you (and any partner you invite) can read them, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we wanted ours treated.
If something goes wrong
In the unlikely event of a data breach that poses a real risk of harm, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law, without undue delay.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or permanently delete your data at any time — most of this is self-serve from your profile. You can also withdraw consent or object to a use of your data. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children’s data
Intuityen is for parents and parents-to-be, not for use by children. Information about your child (such as name or date of birth) is entered by you, the parent, to personalise guidance, and is treated with the same care as your own data.
